Anand Shah

Co-founder and CEO

Anand Shah is CEO and Co-founder of Databook. Anand brings to Databook more than 15 years of experience as an expert in consulting Fortune 500 CXOs on how companies drive top-line growth for the enterprise. Before founding Databook, Anand was an Engagement Partner at Accenture Strategy, leading their engagement with the World Economic Forum on Digital Transformation, and a global lead for Accenture’s Strategic Insights group.

Anand holds a dual-MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Reading, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.

Katherine Lovelace

VP, Customer Strategy

Katherine Lovelace is VP, Customer Strategy, and is responsible for building and scaling world-class Strategy & Operations and Value Architect teams.

Prior to joining Databook, Katherine has worked in a variety of consulting and strategy roles, building Value Engineering/Value Realization programs, developing GTM strategies for new market opportunities and developing operational frameworks across GTM teams for both large SaaS companies and startups. Katherine is passionate about delivering value across every stage of the customer lifecycle and building high performing teams.

Katherine holds a MBA from Wharton, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Int’l Political Science from UCLA.

Peter Zuyderduyn

GM, EMEA

As General Manager EMEA, Peter is responsible for driving the company’s strategic expansion in the EMEA markets.

Peter brings over 17 years’ experience in the consulting and technology field to Databook. Most recently, he served as the Strategy Managing Director and Partner at Accenture, where he led strategy and consulting work for Communications, High Tech/Industrial & Software/Platform companies. As part of Peter’s expansive leadership background, he served as President of Accenture’s Strategy Inclusion team and also participated on Accenture’s Netherland’s Strategy Leadership Board. In addition, Peter contributed to several publications at Accenture including the High Performance Business studies for three consecutive years. Next to his client responsibilities, Peter was responsible for the Amsterdam Innovation Centre and Value Office, and served as an Accenture Teaching faculty member.

Neil Smith

CTO

Neil Smith is Chief Technology Officer and responsible for driving Databook’s success in Machine Learning, Innovation and Technology Partnerships

Neil brings to Databook 25 years of experience bridging business, technology and start-ups. Most recently, Neil worked at Google, dividing his time between the Research and Machine Intelligence group focused on NLP, and leading an enterprise NLP team in the Google incubator, Area 120. Between stints at various start-ups Neil was also Senior Director Business Development at Yahoo!, leading the business team that brought Yahoo!’s vision of Smart TV to the world, and was a technology evangelist in Netscape’s Professional Services group in the early days of the commercial Internet.

Neil holds an MBA from IMD and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The University of Kent at Canterbury.

Alex Barrett

Co-founder

Alex Barrett is a Co-founder of Databook. Alex makes Databook’s customer-centric insights relevant and actionable for our users.

Previously, Alex worked as a freelance content strategist for clients including Accenture and the World Economic Forum. He also brings a decade of experience as a journalist, researching and producing television documentaries for the BBC.

Alex graduated in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.

Kassidy Bird

VP, Marketing

Kassidy is Vice President of Marketing, responsible for driving demand and establishing Databook as a leader in enterprise sales solutions.

Kassidy brings a decade of experience successfully scaling enterprise SaaS businesses across retail, supply chain, and digital experience and is passionate about helping the world’s largest brands improve their customer experiences.

Kassidy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Southern California.

David Graswick

VP, Global Sales

David is the Vice President of Global Sales at Databook, responsible for leading Databook’s sales team.

David brings over 20 years of experience in sales and sales leadership. He joined Databook in 2020, growing accounts in his territory into the company’s largest clients and leading a team of Client Partners. Prior to Databook, David held sales and sales leadership roles at Yext, Sprinklr, Jive Software, Oracle, Confluence, and more. Throughout his career, David has built strategic relationships with clients across the CPG, retail, financial services, pharmaceutical, and software industries.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He currently lives in Pittsburgh with his wife and three kids.

Chris Kitching

CFO

Chris is the Chief Financial Officer at Databook, responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to the business.

Chris brings 30+ years of experience to the role and has spent considerable time both as an operator and investor. Prior to Databook, Chris worked as an Operating Partner at HighBar Partners, a private equity firm which invested exclusively into enterprise software companies. During his tenure as Operating Partner, Chris served as a board member for seven software businesses and was responsible for driving financial and operational improvements across the portfolio. Earlier in his career, Chris was the Chief Financial Officer and VP Operations at ClariPhy Communications, a VC-backed communications company acquired by Inphi Corporation. Chris started his career working as a mixed-signal integrated circuit design engineer at MicroLinear.

Chris holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Marta Molina Paul

SVP, People Operations

Marta Molina Paul is a Silicon Valley startup veteran, having worked at multiple early stage startups. Most recently, she was the VP of Global People Operations at ThoughtSpot, where she oversaw global recruiting, people operations, total rewards, learning and development, and performance management. Previously, she led the global HR organization for Zoom Video Communications scaling people operations from its early stage through to their successful IPO, garnering Glassdoor’s 2^nd best place to work in 2019.

Marta holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
